**Job Description Summary** Drive quality across Chemical Process supply chain, including quality plan implementation. Support suppliers through qualification processes. Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the business. Has experience and expertise to solve problems affecting both short term and long-term business goals. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Drive Supplier Quality Assurance and Development, including supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, and performance monitoring. + Assist key suppliers in achieving industrial standards of excellence. + Become a certified expert (Certifying Agent) in Chemical Processes such as cleaning, stripping, etching, plating, anodize, paint, and DFL. + Document technical data for assigned projects in alignment with engineering policies and procedures. + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance First Time Yield and delivery performance. + Collaborate with Design and Materials Engineers to improve manufacturability and producibility. + Conduct supplier audits, identify gaps in quality systems, and drive corrective actions to closure. + Develop in-depth knowledge of Chemical Processing disciplines and execute functional policies/strategies. + Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide informal guidance to new team members. + Solve problems using technical expertise, analytic thinking, and collaboration across teams. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience in Engineering or as a Chemical Processing Level III). + Minimum 5 years of experience with Chemical and/or Metal Finishing Processes. **Desired Characteristics** + Familiarity with Nadcap System and Audit requirements for Chemical Processing. + Advanced degree in Material Science, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering preferred. + Expertise in specification requirements, process design, and control for Chemical Processing. + Strong technical aptitude in manufacturing equipment and tooling design. + Experience leading initiatives in Chemical Process and Product Development & Introduction. + Willingness to travel up to 20% for audits, conferences, or troubleshooting. + Key traits: + **Humble:** Respectful, eager to learn, and receptive. + **Transparent:** Shares critical information and communicates candidly. + **Focused:** Quick learner, prioritizes strategically, and committed to goals. + **Leadership:** Strong communicator, decision-maker, and collaborative. + **Problem Solver:** Analytical thinker, challenges processes, and critical thinker.
