Job Description

Garden Deva Sculpture Company is a local Tulsa shop that creates artful metal sculptures for the home and garden. We create all of our products from start to finish in our facility. This part time position includes ranging from 25-35 hours per week of the below duties regarding office administration and sales.

Job Duties Include:

Gallery coverage & merchandising

  • Including but not limited to checking out customers, taking orders, answering the phones, fulfilling pickup orders for walk-in customers, opening and closing the retail floor.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, offerings, and new arrivals to inform and influence customers.
  • Actively engage customers to understand their needs and match them with the right products to drive sales.
  • Restocking handouts & packaging materials at the register
  • Gallery merchandising & maintenance (including but not limited to maintaining and changing out retail displays, price tagging and putting product into the gallery, prepping gallery for events, updating giveaways, dusting and sweeping)
  • Preparing light refreshments (complimentary coffee & water) for customers & class participants on the weekends
  • Keeping the bathrooms & kitchenette clean and restocked as needed

Sales & quote maintenance

  • Providing customer quotes for custom orders
  • Inputting orders into our system (wholesale & retail)
  • Inputting quotes into our quotes tracker & enthusiastically following up with potential customers each week
  • Sales outreach campaigns (phone call, emails, etc.)

Online store maintenance

  • Adding new products to our online stores for retail and wholesale
  • Overall maintenance of wholesale & retail online platforms (i.e. updating pricing when necessary, editing inventory as needed, etc)
  • Maintaining the website homepage with current information

Class admin duties

  • Inputting class sign ups into the roster
  • Updating our class roster and online portals with current class information
  • Administering and collecting completed waivers for metal class participants
  • Sending weekly class reminder and survey emails

Various office duties

  • Responding to assigned general inquiry emails
  • Paying company invoices and tracking expenses
  • Keeping a tidy office & workspace
  • Purchasing office supplies as necessary
  • Various admin related tasks as assigned by management

Experience with customer service and retail is required. On the job training will be provided.


During the busy season (April-May, Aug-Dec), shifts will be 5 days a week Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30am-5pm, with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break during the workday. Consistent Saturday availability is a must. During slow seasonal periods (i.e. Jan-March or Jun-July) shifts may change based on workload and availability. Consistent work will be offered year round, with more flexibility during slow periods, and a guarantee of 25 hours per week. During events and seasonal happenings, overtime may be requested from management. 

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
