POSITION SUMMARY:

As our Luxury Reservations Agent at Marco Escapes, you are the first point of contact and our resident expert in making Marco Island vacation dreams come true.

Your role is to be our guests' welcoming and knowledgeable guide from beginning to end. This means you will answer all inquiries across platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo, accurately close sales, and make reservations . You’ll also assist with any questions, needs, or issues that may arise during a stay. To guarantee a seamless experience for every guest or owner, being a team player with solid multitasking abilities is important. Effective coordination across departments like maintenance and housekeeping is crucial to minimize disruptions and ensure each stay is as smooth as possible.

You will also follow up with guests after an issue has been addressed and after departure to continue building a relationship that will encourage high ratings and repeat bookings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all guest calls, emails, and texts are answered promptly and professionally. 
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by working closely and effectively with the office manager, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to address guests' concerns.
  • Ensure follow-ups are performed on any guest concerns or issues and find ways to help improve the company's performance by providing internal feedback and suggestions.
  • Assist with property inspections to ensure homes are properly maintained as needed.
  • Maintain a friendly, helpful, and courteous attitude with all guests, owners, and co-workers.
  • Perform office work duties including - reports, audits, process payments, Dynamic Pricing, Outlook, and Property Management Systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma, college degree, or equivalent is preferred
  • Familiarity with Airbnb, VRBO, and other online travel agency platforms is highly desirable.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.
  • Comfortable with luxury sales, able to promote high-end products expertly and skillfully resolve customer objections.
  • Living near Marco Island is vital, and familiarity with the area is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency is required.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, exercise sound judgment, and maintain strong attention to detail.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $45,000- $50,000 based on experience and achievement, with bonuses $80,000 OTE 

Bonus: Our booking agents receive a $75 bonus with every booking they close
