Description About Hawke AI Hawke AI is a leading digital marketing analytics platform that helps businesses track goals, monitor KPIs, and analyze performance trends. We're looking for a talented Full-Stack Developer to join our team and help us integrate cutting-edge AI and LLM technologies into our React-based SPA platform. Position Overview As our lead engineer, you'll work directly with the head of Hawke AI to build our platform from the ground up. You'll have complete ownership of our technical architecture, development practices, and tooling decisions. This is a rare opportunity to join early and lead the growth of an established SaaS platform, with potential to grow into senior technical leadership as we scale. We're seeking a junior-level Full-Stack Developer with a passion for AI/LLM integration to enhance our analytics platform with intelligent features. You'll work on implementing AI-powered insights, natural language interfaces, and automated reporting capabilities while maintaining our robust, enterprise-grade architecture built largely on Firebase, MongoDB, and custom APIs. Qualifications AI/LLM Integration • Design and implement LLM-powered features for automated marketing insights and recommendations • Build natural language query interfaces for data exploration using OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar APIs

• Develop AI-driven anomaly detection and trend analysis for marketing metrics
• Create intelligent chatbot features to complement our existing Intercom integration

Full-Stack Development

• Maintain and enhance our React.js SPA with modern hooks and component patterns
• Optimize webpack configuration and code-splitting strategies for performance
• Build RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for AI feature integration
• Manage state effectively across our chunked architecture
• Ensure seamless integration with existing services (Stripe, MongoDB, Firebase)

Technical Architecture

• Design scalable solutions for AI feature deployment and monitoring
• Optimize application performance while adding AI capabilities
• Maintain security best practices for API key management and user data
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for AI model updates and feature releases
• Work with and enhance current MongoDB structure

Required Qualifications Technical Skills

• 3-5 years of full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in React.js, MongoDB, and Firebase, including hooks, context,

and modern patterns

• Experience with Node.js/Express or similar backend frameworks
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, etc.)
• Understanding of prompt engineering and LLM behavior patterns
• Familiarity with webpack, code splitting, and SPA optimization
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation

Additional Skills

• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Understanding of marketing metrics and analytics (preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with streaming LLM responses and real-time updates
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js)
• Experience with payment processing (Stripe) integration
• Background in digital marketing or analytics platforms
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects
