About the role

Ensures regulatory compliance is maintained within the bank by monitoring, researching and communicating changes to regulations and providing a synopsis of changes to leadership and staff.

What you will do

• Conducts reviews on business functions to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains working knowledge of deposit regulations, including Reg CC and DD, to perform reviews.
• Assists in developing guidelines regarding BSA/AML Compliance.
• Reviews and completes BSA/AML tasks, including research and completion of Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and working BSA software alerts.
• Identifies areas of non-compliance and risk exposure and makes appropriate recommendations.
• Communicates review findings to appropriate management and staff.
• Maintains a strong working knowledge of regulations, industry trends and best practices.
• Provides recommendations as non-compliant items are identified and assists with updating policies and procedures by reporting issues to the head of compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you will need

• Associate's degree in related field preferred.
• 2 - 4 years of banking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
