Location:  Houston, TX | Hybrid (in-office & remote)

Commitment:  Full-Time

Compensation:  $100,000 – $150,000 (Based on Experience)

Experience:   Dental software + proven CTO or senior IT leadership experience required

What You’ll Do:

As CTO, you’ll lead the technology vision and execution for our growing dental organization. You’ll be expected to figure out and build the ideal  tech stack  for an emerging DSO, and lead the creation of a centralized  data lakehouse  to consolidate information, enhance decision-making, and fuel operational performance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Define and build the right software and tech stack to support scalable growth
  • Lead the architecture and development of a data lakehouse for analytics and reporting
  • Oversee integration and optimization of dental systems (e.g., practice management, imaging, patient engagement)
  • Ensure cybersecurity, HIPAA compliance, and data privacy across all locations
  • Lead IT infrastructure strategy and support across hybrid and in-office teams
  • Develop internal tech support systems 
  • Drive automation, dashboard creation, and data visualization for executive and clinical teams
  • Collaborate with departments to identify and implement tech solutions that improve efficiency and experience

Qualifications:

  • Senior-level tech leadership experience (CTO, VP of Technology, or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience with dental software platforms and systems
  • Proven success building data infrastructure (e.g., data lakes/warehouses, Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.)
  • Strong grasp of cloud systems, networking, cybersecurity, and HIPAA compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to scale technology across multi-site organizations
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to communicate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Must be based in Houston, TX with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity
