Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Location: Temecula, CA (On-Site)Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000 base + performance bonus + full benefits packageAbout the OpportunityA well-established, privately held hospitality and winery group based in Temecula is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This on-site leadership role will oversee financial operations across a portfolio that includes a vineyard estate, winery, full-service hotel, multiple restaurants, and real estate assets.This is a unique opportunity for a finance executive with a strong background in hospitality, food and beverage, and real estate management to drive strategic growth and long-term planning for a high-touch, guest-centered business.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & Strategy Lead all financial operations, including accounting, FP&A, budgeting, and reporting Guide long-term financial strategy to support business expansion and investment initiatives Deliver insightful financial analysis to ownership and senior leadership for data-driven decisions Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting across all business entities Operations & Team Oversight Direct and support the accounting and finance teams across all locations and departments Implement and manage internal controls, systems, and financial processes to ensure operational efficiency Collaborate closely with department leaders in hospitality, food and beverage, and facilities to track and improve financial performance Oversee vendor management, contracts, and banking relationships Risk Management & Compliance Ensure all accounting practices align with GAAP and internal policies Lead insurance, compliance, and regulatory efforts across entities Oversee tax preparation, audit processes, and risk mitigation strategies Strategic Business Support Partner with ownership and senior management on capital planning, development, and growth initiatives Play a key role in optimizing profitability across the winery, hotel, and restaurant businesses Lead financial due diligence for new projects or acquisitions Monitor market trends and financial risks to maintain long-term financial health Ideal Candidate Profile 10+ years of senior financial leadership in hospitality, food and beverage, or winery operations CPA or MBA strongly preferred Strong track record managing multi-unit or multi-entity operations High emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and a collaborative leadership style Experience in family-owned or privately held environments preferred Deep understanding of hospitality operations, cost structures, and seasonal business cycles Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday On-site required in Temecula Benefits Include: Full medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Annual performance bonus Pet insurance Dry cleaning reimbursement Three weeks of PTO plus holidays Company discounts across wine, food, and lodging properties
